A Dependable Source Near Diamond
Your small-town property probably includes a shop, maybe a few bins, and a house that needs reliable heat. Diamond straddles the Grundy and Will County line, with quiet streets surrounded by open farmland and quick access to I-55. Our Ottawa-based team supports exactly that mix. We stock welding wire, electrodes, plasma cutters and torches, and our service department keeps your welding machines running. Growers in the area depend on us for grain handling and drying equipment, including stirring machines, unload systems and bin stairs. When winter wind sweeps across the open fields, a new fireplace or a wood, corn, gas or pellet stove makes a real difference. Visit our showroom on Route 71 and talk through the details.
Our Service
Equipment Service Built Around Your Needs
Every property has different demands, and your equipment should match how you actually work and live. Our grain handling and drying lineup covers in-bin drying, elevator legs, stirring machines and unload systems, backed by design, installation, maintenance and restoration services. For welding, we offer machine sales and repair plus a full stock of torches, filler rods, handles and fuel kits. In the home, we design and install fireplaces finished in brick, masonry, cultured stone or wood mantels, and we carry wood and pellet stoves made from soapstone, steel and cast iron. Smaller farms and acreages often need a right-sized system rather than the biggest option on the market, and we take the time to figure out what fits. Installation and inspection come with the same careful attention.

your questions answered
Find answers about our products and services.
What is the difference between in-bin drying and a separate grain dryer?
In-bin drying uses fans and heat inside the storage bin, drying grain more slowly with lower handling costs. A separate dryer handles higher volumes quickly before grain goes to storage. Smaller operations often find in-bin drying a practical fit. We can compare your harvest volume and storage setup and help you choose the right approach.
Is a soapstone stove worth considering over a steel wood stove?
At minimum, use an auto-darkening helmet, leather gloves, a flame-resistant jacket and safety glasses under the helmet. Keep a fire extinguisher nearby and clear flammables from the work area. Good ventilation matters too. Our welding counter carries supplies for beginners, and we are glad to explain what you need before your first project.
